Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 AMβ11 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (212) 807-7771. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, wmarketnyc.com.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It makes me sad because this is such a beautiful marketplace, but the cashiers always seem so unhappy and unfriendly during checkout. There just doesnβt seem to be much customer service. Itβs unfortunate because something as simple as a smile or a βHave a great dayβ would make the experience so much more welcoming.

First time coming here today. Beautiful place with a great amount of expired options. Went in to get one of their to-go meals. Looked at their salmon burgers first and it had an expiration date of May 10th with a great amount of mold growing on it. Made an associate aware. That should have been enough to make me leave but no. Went to look at their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which had expiration dates of May 17th. To me, this should have been good as it is not expired yet. Got home to reheat and it smelled absolutely horrible. Smelled of pure expired milk. Beware of buying certain things here. Inspect and inspect again. They Seem to not care about their to-go meals and the quality.

Nahhhh nah nahhhhh uh... I worked in the area, and my co worker and I went in for lunch, I bought a veggie dumpling tray to go, the cashier never even bagged it, even if the bagger is busy, the cashier should still bag people's stuffs. The tray had no soy sauce inside, so I dunno if they saving the business money, or soy sauce was in a tray somewhere, no one said anything, but i didnt see it...then I noticed everytime we go in to buy stuff, they always scrutinizing us, watching the COMMAND CENTER, small tv screens, poor pixels, not even a hard of seeing person could see anything on tha screen...π©then when we walk out....they watch you in your eye to make you feel nice, instead, it makes people feel uncomfortable, NOT NICE!!!!! People that are buying from you, you shouldn't FBI them...dunno if this is one of Kash FBI outlet.....today we went in to buy stuff, saw them doing the same mumbo jumbo...so, I decided to not support them... they even watched us again while we walking out, they were all there watching the camera!!! Funny thing, they have a separate entrance to enter, and a separate door to exit......so, come on!!! I think, if someone buying from you, put the food in the bag w

Great market. Huge selection of products, nicely arranged. A little pricey, but if you're careful you can find some great bargains. Love the bulk granola, deli section, more. Cashiers are friendly and everyone make sure they socially distance. A grocery with a conscience! And if you're a beer lover, that section is huge. Take your pick; they have it all! To top it off, they deliver prepared foods, meals, and groceries! Definitely worth a visit!

This place is a gold mine. You can find many speciality items here but they also have a decent selection of every day items. There's a small seating area for a quick bite or lunch. They feature many freshly prepared items that are usually delicious and served in large portions. You'll definitely be satisfied with either the lunch or dinner take out. The cheeses are the best. Literally, every kind of cheese you could want or imagine, both foreign and domestic. Very happy to let you taste most items. They do catering and holiday baskets plus delivery. The produce is excellent. If I ever need something I can't find anywhere else, they usually have it here. The staff is polite and friendly.
